I am contemplating between a 22" 6x47 or straight 243 win. My thinking is I will get a more complete burn from the 6x47 in the 22". Which should lead to better velocities in the given length. Also it seems the 6x47 produces very similar velocities to the 243 with the 105's, but with faster burning powders like h4350 vs rl22/25, h1000, and 4831sc that are popular in the 243 with heavier bullets and long barrels. Im trying to push the 105 berger/amax 2950+ and would really like to be over 3000.

I was just wondering if anybody had any experience with either the 6x47/243 in shorter barrels. I know there are alot of 6x47 shooters around here so I figured it would be the place to ask. Thanks for any help or advice.
