In calm conditions at 100yds., I greatly prefer the .222 (with equal quality components) over the 6PPC. Anything outside of these conditions, I would take the 6PPC.

Like a lot of caliber/round comparisons, the ability to read wind even with a degree of accuracy penalty trumps not reading it. This is based on my experience and observations.
