I think 1 in 9 is right at the border, some will and some won't. Had a worn out Shilen 22-250 w/ 9T rechambered to 223 and it shoots 75 Amax very well at 300 yards w/ normal load using R15.

hello,i just got my 1:9 to shoot the 75g berger vld with imr 4007.can not remember the weight at this time but it shot at .308 at 100yrds for the first time loaded in a new rifel.but like one said i think some will and some want.i think it's just how good or true of a 1:9 twist one gets in their rifel.also my first load was jamed in the lands.already loaded 5 more with .010 jump.and i'll see what they will do and get back with ya.
