i'm shooting 140 NBT's right now. deer shot in the past have been with sierra 130 btsp. never hit one in the shoulder so i've always gotten pass thru's. i'm wanting a bullet suitable for deer yet give enough expansion for bustin' yotes. the soft points usually drop them pretty good, but was hoping to maybe get more expansion for the bullet to lose more of it's energy. i don't hunt places with sensitive backdrops, but i don't want a bullet that can keep going very far. i guess the 130 NBT might jst be what i'm after. i'd really like to try the v-max for coyotes, but don't want to mess with my scope right before deer season.
