Gents,

I got totally screwed by Superior Shooting Systems trying to import 115gr DTAC's. I can't see myself going down that road again. I would appreciate some suggestions on the next best projectile. I'll be running them from a .243 AI, mostly target and some hunting (deer, foxes & pigs). I'm leaning towards the 105gr A-MAX.

Regards,
Rath

105 Amax is great, can you get JLK bullets or Berger bullets? The JLK's are dynamite pills, I shoot them in my 30 cals with very good results. I think he makes a 115 also.

Another one might be the 95 Vmax, depending on what velocity you're aiming to reach, the 95 might be a touch fast, but it's a darn good bullet.

I use the 95 Vmax a lot in my 6x45, it shoots bug holes.

How about the 103gn Copper heads, made down in your area.Try copperheadbullets.com They have shot well (1st and 2nd) out to 1200yds. They are what I have switched to now. Never have to worry about shortages or import hastles.

95gr VMAX? I'm guessing thats a typo I couldn't find them nor have I seen any. I sure would like a 95gr high BC projectile for varmints. The only thing I have found to expand reliably is the 105 Amax. The 87gr VMax is pretty good also.
