Kodiak,

Many thanks for the informative response. It's a good looking cartridge. Sort of reminds me a a cartridge some people used that was basically a 6 BR on a 243 Win case. Yours looks to be more efficient.

Cheers,

Rick

P.S. I had not thought about using some soap to reduce the surface tension when measuring case capacity. I will have to try that. I usually have just thumped the case until there is a very small meniscus that goes below the case mouth rather than one that sticks up above it.

I have just ordered a reamer that I named BRV (Viktor), it has less body taper then the standard BR reamer. It is designed to be possible to use from standard length BR -0.2 up to 47mm. At 47 mm it is 0.4693” at the base. I also ordered resize reamer so it will be possibly to make full length sizers.
Depending of the smith of your choice I might be willing to lend you the reamers.
Contact me here or at http://www.benchrest.fi if you are interested.
If anybody is intrested in the prints just ask for them.
