I have 2#s of H4895 and got my new 6br savage. I was just wondering if anyone is using this powder. and also if anyone is using it with Berger 105s or Sierra 107s.

105gr. BERGER BT Match, 29.5 H4895, CCI BR4, 2880fps: J. Schmidt's recommended "moderate" accuracy load for factory actions. Very accurate and consistent. 1/4 MOA 25-shot Agg at 200.

This was taken from the 6BR section of this forum from the competition load chart.

I use lighter loads in my 6BR.

28.5 gr H4895 w/ Berger 105 VLD (0.015 into lands) I get about 2805 fps and exceptional accuracy.

I also use 27.5 w/Berger 90 gr BT. (0.025 jump) for practice and the short line. I have not chrono'd this but it too has proven to be quite accurate.

Good luck
