I have a T3 the same as DogBusters very accurate rifle.
I use 55 gr V-MAX with great effect.
Would not get rid of it for any money.

595's for me
I have 8 of them now and still lokking for me

what lets the T3's down to me is not the action but the cheap stocks

I use a T-3 lite as a carry gun when calling Yotes with 45gr, 50gr and 55gr. It shoots them all great. My nephew has the same gun with the same results. I wouldn't be scared of 8 twist.

I can attest to the accuracy of the T3's but if you ever intend on building a custom off of it then go with a 595.

I have one of the T3 varminters in 223 with the 1/8 twist. I don't worry about the 75 grainers as it puts the Hornady 68s into an inch at 300 yards. Ask for anything more from a field gun? Jerry

I went ahead and bought the T3, as I got a good deal on it. I will see how it shoots with a variety of bullets and report my results....

And where are the barrels stamped, if they are 8 twist?
