After a year, I finally got it built. It shoots great.

Remington 40X Rimfire Action (22 LR)
Benchmark Barrel 6 goove, 16.5 twist
High Tech Specialties (Bansner) stock (17 oz.)
Stock coated Freedom Green with Maxx Guard by Bell and Carlson
Metal coated with Tough Coat (Satin Black)
Talley Lightweight Rings/Mounts
Leupold Vari X II 3-9X33 Rimfire scope
Smithed by Ray Perry of Bridge City, Texas
The targets in the pics are 50 yards

Nice!
I have one of those early 40X but I decided to restore it. It out shoots the later 40X's I have and it out shoots them with a lot more brands of ammo.

Nice Job! Try the SK Standard. I found that in my factor barrelled 40-X that it outshot the match variety at 50 yards.
