I'm sure others will disagree, but I prefer the plain steel at approx. $11 each. For the same cost, I can have a greater selection of sizes, using the plain steel, compared to the much more expensive titanium nitride. Of all the bushings I now have, for the various ctgs., there remain a select few that I always use, the others seldom, if ever used.

I use carbide as they don't scratch the necks and lube is not necessary.

I'm with Butch as far as the carbide is concerned but I use a little sizing die wax as I am full length sizing.

Buy 2 or 3 steel bushings in the approximate sizes you think you will need. When you settle on a final size, buy titanium and sell or trade the others. I always use a little lube even with titanium bushings.

Sinclair carries them but only in tight-neck 6mm sizes like 0.257" to 0.2595". They're also available in half thousandth steps. Only source I know of but there may be others.
