I am putting up my Armalite AR-50 for the ridiculous price of $2,850.00(picked up), but shipping can be arranged for those that live too far from central Arkansas! For those wondering the rifle hasn't been shot since 2007....

I would consider a Savage 12 Varmint Low Profile chambered in 300WSM, plus some cash as trade.

Breakdown:

Armalite AR-50.....50BMG, the trigger has been cleaned up for a better break.

CALIBER: .50BMG
RECEIVER FORM: MODIFIED OCTAGONAL FORM,
DRILLED AND SLOTTED FOR SCOPE RAIL
BOLT: TRIPLE FRONT LOCKING LUG
EXTRACTOR: SAKO TYPE
EJECTOR: SPRING LOADED PLUNGER, AUTOMATIC EJECTION
TRIGGER: SCHILLEN STANDARD SINGLE STAGE
BARREL: 31" TAPERED, 8 GROOVE RH 1:15 INCH TWIST
MUZZLE DEVICE: CYLINDRICAL MULTIFLUTE RECOIL CHECK
STOCK: 3 SECTION: EXTRUDED FOREND, MACHINED GRIP
WITH VERTICAL GRIP, FORGED AND MACHINED
REMOVABLE BUTTSTOCK
BUTTPLATE: VERTICALLY ADJUSTABLE, SPECIALLY BUILT FOR
HEAVY CALIBERS
FINISH: MANGANESE PHOSPHATED STEEL,
HARD ANODIZED ALUMINUM
OVERALL LENGTH: 59.5 INCHES
WEIGHT: 34 POUNDS
COMPLETE WITH: 15 MINUTE SCOPE BASE,

Optic and 4 rings......BSA 10x50-60mm, has a 30mm tube and side focus. Four rings are used to hold everything in place. The BSA optic was purchased new at MidwayUSA-they no longer sell them but I remember paying $389-ish for it. Can't remember the type of rings(can't expect us older guys to be able to remember everything).

Hardcase.....Montana Bear Tracker hardcase, has two lockable fold-over clasps, wheels, and three carry handles. Case was purchased new just for this rifle, and has been cutout to fit the shape of the rifle for a great fit(and absolutely no movement). If I remember correctly the case was $500!!

That's about it, roughly $3,800.00 worth of awesome rifle for $2,850.00!!! For those that would consider shipping...my zip code is 72023 and the rifle weighs almost 70lbs in the case. Must have a signed FFL sent to me before shipping happens.

Method of payment? If this is a face-to-face exchange I'll take cash only. Shipping to you-I'll take a MoneyOrder or check(will have to wait until this clears my bank, which could be up to 5 days).

Showing a little bump from my trip to Maine:

Through the optic at 10x (100yds to the pole):

Through the optic at 50x (100yds to the pole):

Buyer of rifle package will have first 'dibs' on reloading supplies (about $1,500 worth)...
