Hey Chuck, listed are loads that have worked well for me using 90gr. Bergers.
IMR 4350-37.5 gr.start = 2900fps
Varget-34.0 gr.=2950 fps
H4895-35.0 gr.
H4350-40.0 gr.
These are all pretty soft loads for .243 but you can work up from there.
Good luck.

I am getting good results in my 243 Ackley with H4350 (Winchester brass, F210s) and 90 gr Scenars. Funny thing with the Scenars though. Groups ran a little under MOA with them .005" into the lands, with them at the lands, with them .005" off the lands, .010" off, etc., until I hit .025" off the lands, where groups shrank to .2-.3 MOA. Go figure.

Hello to community, its my first post, and I want to raise this question from the ashes.
Because of restrictions in my country, I'm quite limited to components so - 90grs. Scenars, VV N160 and WLR primers with LAPUA brass are my only options to experiment and find a best group.
My gun is REM700SPS with heavy 26" and 1in9.1/8 in B&C stock.

First of all, I didn't find loads for my Scenars in VihtaVuori's manual, only 90grs. LAPUA's FMJ are maxed there 41.9grs. of N160@3150fps, some Googling also didn't helped me with loads, not Sierra or Holgdon manuals included this particular bullet. I'm surprised, tbh. Not sure that common for US, but here and in Europe 90grs. Scenars are very common bullet of choice in .243

So Ive started my own research and tests which are still unsuccessfully. My loads still worst then factory loads from Norma, for ex. 80grs Norma FMJ (which is actually Hornady in Norma brass) @3117 gives me stable 0.5MOA@100m, but my loads fluctuating from 1-0.75MOA with rare group of 0.5
By now, my loads was:
43.2; 45; 45.5, 46
Last one blown up brasses and primer pockets and was chroned as 3608fps, so I'm concerned about issue and still not understand how to build the ladder for best results.
So pls, if some one familiar with 90Snr with N160, could you please share your experience... Many thx in advance.
