Anyone used this one for deer/coyotes? I have read some good things online, and we all know you should believe everything you read on the internet, but has anyone actually tried it?

How about the speer 70 grain flat base soft point?

Never used that one but the 75 grain Hornady A-max is a winner for what you want to do..........

I have some loaded up for hog and coyote. I have hit .6in 5-shot groups in my stock DPMS with the 75gr Hornady BTHP.

Here are some big .223 bullets:

Nosler Partition 60gr
Sierra Game King 65gr
Speer 70gr
Swift Scirocco 75gr

I got to the range to try these things out. I kept the powder charge the same at 22.5gr Varget and varied seating depth. (this load was safe in my gun, it may not be safe in yours. Start low and work up) I got an average group of around .4 inches at 100 with all of them, but they preferred a jump.

I have killed 14 deer in my 18" bbl SPR AR15 using the 65gr. Sierra Game King and a stout load of AA2520 for just under 3100fps. Ranges were from 50-165yds. Hammered them all. That is the bullet that I would recommend based on real world experience. Never tried the other ones you mentioned

Well... I can now say it is definitely accurate out to 300 yards. It runs out of steam out there too though. I wouldn't hesitate to use it on chest shots out to 200 though.
