I just sent a Leupold Comp. 45x scope back to Leupold for a reticle change and to instal any avaliable upgrades for this scope. They recieved it Tuesday and two days later I got an email saying it had been shipped back to me with a tracking number. I think that is a record ! Two days turnaround is hard to beat ! I just thought I would share this experience as I like spreading good news for a change.

Leupold's service is excellent as it should be considering the investment you have in one of their products.
One beef I have with them is that if you send you scope in for repair, they will tell you what they replaced but not what they found!
I sent a 36X BR scope in as it wan't hold POI very well. Basically they replaced all the internal components of the scope and never would tell me what was actually wrong.
Guess that with a new scope I cannot complain, just wish they would have detailed the problem.

The current charge for a reticle change at Leupold is $60 and this includes shipping the scope back to the customer.

For any reticle?
Never sent a Leupold back for service due to defect, but I have sent several back for target and tactical turret installation.
Received all back withing 10 working days from the time the PO got them and UPS dropping them off at my doorstep.
Not the best glass out there, but there CS is unparalleled in my experience.
