Here's my latest LR varmint rig which i finished a couple of weeks ago.

Its a .257 Ackley Improved built around a Borden Timberline action, Duracoated and equipped with a Rifle Basix Trigger.
Barrel is a custom profile 26" Pac-nor 1-10 twist 5 groove carrying a Vais brake or Wildcat 8 baffle moderator.
This is all pillar bedded into an Olive drab Mcmillan Remington Varmint stock with PTG bottom metal.
Scope is a Sightron SIII 8-32x56 sitting in Leupold Dual Dovetail rings and bases, with the whole lot supported by a Versa-Pod bipod.

Here is my Remington 700 SPS-Varmint.
It wears a Bell & Carlson "Light tactical" stock,a 3lb trigger & A Nikon Monarch 6x24x50, factory barrel

Its a far cry from what most of you have posted, but it shoots pretty good for me with Black hills ammo.

Both groups were shot with RED BOX Black Hills Moly Coated 50gr V-maxes @ 100yards.

this is one of my better 5 shot groups. I then adjusted the windage and shot the top right bull.

This is a 5 shot group from yesterday that I wasn't sure weather to be happy or pissed off about.

Here is one of my Eliseo R5's. This one is the one that I shot to win the Master Class - Civilian Match Rifle catagory in the Crowell Throphy this year at Perry. This photo was taken by Jim Hardy.

Another PRIDE and JOY!!
Especially after this Elk season. Success muct have come from the gun; it could not have been the 'Nut behind the trigger'.
This is a 338 Snipe-tac, built by Dave Viers at Viersco.
What a great guy!! This is a 408 Chey-Tac necked down to a 338.
My Elk load this season was a 265gr Aluminum Tipped Bullet by R.G. Henson, pushed by 143.22gr of US869. MV was 3496fps (as recorded by my PVM-21), ME was right around the MACK TRUCK mark.
Impact at 424 yards destroyed the off shoulder of my Elk.
THE GUN:
LAWTON 32", CM, 1-11tw barrel
LAWTON 8000 Action
JEWELL HVRST trigger
MANNERS Tactical Stock
VIERSCO Muzzle Brake (AWESOME)
NightForce 5.5x22x56 NSX Scope
Custom paint by Dave Viers

Thanks Dave for an asesome gun. I appreciate all the work you did!!

My favorite is a low tech BR rifle built on a Hall "M" action with dual ports..switch barrel from 6ppc to 30BR..it is a very accurate rifle that I stocked myself..barreled by Wayne Shaw...it sports a Butch Lambert tuner.
