Wow. For some reason I lost track of this thread so never saw the excellent response to my question. It's what I'd heard, what I suspected was true but didn't know WHY it was true. Now I do and though the post is old it's no less valuable. As for the language, I didn't even notice it. I guess I'm one of those ex-military guys that are just uncultured and vulgar so didn't even see it. Had I been properly raised no doubt it would have raised a hackle or two with my sensibilities. It's a shame that the more cultured among us let a few insignificant words stand out so boldly against the backdrop of the much more important ones.

I guess the next question, if you happen to still be around is, "can that slop be engineered out so the problem doesn't exist or is recoil really too much of an issue?" Thanks! -Rod-

Profanity? I would have to go back and look for it. I guess I
must be hanging around the wrong people cause I just didn't even notice. I think I have read this info before but forgot most of it, so I copied
it this time. GOOD STUFF. Thanks, Badlands

Simply an Outstanding post, and like others here did not notice the so-called offensive language. Though raised by Christian Parents, I served as an MP in the Army, then retired from a career in civilian Law Enforcement; when a Partner said "Incoming" I usually hunkered down. If he/she said "F-ing Incoming" I dug a hole with my edged weapon. Succinct, direct and devoid of misinterpretation; just the way I like it. In the real world of the down and dirty alleys and backstreets at 0330 hrs, language was the least of my worries. As mentioned before, and more articulately than I can muster, just overlook the words and learn from the more important message.

Lets get back on topic. My Leupold LRT has the lash problem, and it is annoying when lining up on a woodchuck at 400 yds. But my NF NXS with side focus was just the opposite; no problem at all with lash. Set it once and be done.
