Short action requred for a 300WSM project im looking to start hopefully at some point. Anything considered in good order with all bits.

Or pointing me in the right direction would be appreciated.

Or, buy a SA ADL synthetic at Wal Mart and strip it down, sell the barrel and stock for $50-$75.

Don't know what your project entails but for less than the price of the Remington action you can get a barreled Howa 1500 action complete with floorplate, etc. Essentially a Weatherby Vanguard.

I've given up starting with Remington actions and spending mucho dinero getting them trued, bushed, etc. In the long run I believe the Stiller Predator is less expensive and you have a far superior action from start to finish.

Yes, do look into the Stiller actions, better quality at a good price.

The other nice thing about just going with a Stiller is if you ever sell it holds it's value MUCH better than a trued Rem.

Don't forget to look at Barney Lawton's new 700 clone ,you can get his in any port configuration, long or short,it has a trigger hanger,side bolt release and will fit a 700 foot print will little mod's.his contact info:406-683-2388or lawtonriflebarrels.com .
