Post photos of your "Pride & Joy" here -- your favorite or best-looking rifles.
So people can see the photos easily, I suggest sizing your photos to 640x480 pixels. Host them for free on http://www.Tinypic.com , http://www.Photobucket.com , or http://www.imagebam.com . Tinypic is very fast, and imagebam allows you to upload multiple images all at once.
CROPPING IMAGES (for Newbies)
Pixels are the color dots that make up digital pictures. Pixel counts are how we list the size of a digital picture. For example 640 pixels wide X 400 pixels high.
Most digital cameras now produce pictures with millions of pixels so they print with fine detail. When a photo comes out of your camera, it might be 3000x2000 pixels. That is TOO BIG for this FORUM. You want to downsize your photo. 800x600 pixels is the largest size you should try to post.

You should resize your pictures BEFORE you post. It's easy to re-size your photos. Just open them in an image display program with sizing controls. MAC users can do this easily with I-Photo. For PC Users, we recommend you download FREE Irfanview image-editing software.
FREE Software: http://www.irfanview.com
Then simply open the image with Irfanview, select "Image > Resize/Resample" and choose 640x480 or 800x600. Then "Save As" the photo with a new file name. It is very important to CHANGE the FILE NAME or you may alter your hi-rez original! |

We'll kick this off with Vince Bottomley's handsome 22 Dasher. This features a Stiller Predator action in a Shehane Tracker II stock. The wood is laminated Obeche in "French Walnut" pattern. The top photo is 800 pixels wide. The bottom photo is 640 pixels wide.

Here are a couple of "300 Varminters" by Richard Franklin. The 300 Varminter is a 300 WSM with a .337" neck and zero freebore just for the 110 V-max & the 125 Nosler Ballistic Tips. A 15 to 17 twist 30" barrel chambered with a minimum spec. (tight chamber) with a minus zero headspace is required to obtain velocities of 3900 to 4000 FPS. Use of Norma brass is the norm. Richard prefers to build on Bat or Nesika actions.
Here is Richard's own Rifle, built with a BAT action and bloodwood "Undertaker" stock. That is the natural color of the wood.

Here's another 300 Varminter in Richard's Undertaker stock. This has an "add-on" red finish.
