Last month, I sent my VX III to Leupold to have M1 turrets installed (very quick turnaround, by the way - less than 2 weeks including time in transit). I finally got around to installing the scope this weekend, and am generally pleased with the change, except for one thing: the force required to twist the M1s seems a bit on the light side. I was hoping they would be a little more difficult to turn accidentally, like the turrets on the Nightforce NXS models are.

I called Leupold for directions on adjusting the force required to twist the turrets. They say it can't be done, but in the back of my mind, I remember reading there was a way to do it... in fact, I think it was on this site, but I haven't been able to find it using the search function. Does anyone know if it's possible, and if so, how to do it?
