Reply with quote | #3 | Beautiful rifle Bill, and nice groups. Hope you enjoy it a lot. I love my 6 Dasher/6.5-284 BAT switch barrel, but I like the Dasher set up the best. I'm in the process of building a 6 Dasher, long range varmint/carry rifle. I expect it will be a little heavy. What would you use for an action? Why do you have different powder numbers? Isn't Varget and 4891, etc, and all Hodgen powder made in Austrailia? |

Reply with quote | #4 | That 6mm Dasher is quite impressive. Nice groups, have you cronographed that particular load? I believe the Dasher will be my next rifle, 1000 yard benchrest profile built for varmints. |

Reply with quote | #5 | Hi the velocity is 2960fps. I am selling this rifle for $3000 Australian. It has under 600rounds through it and i can also have the barrel set back 1/4" and re crowned if the purchases wanted it. It comes with dies cases and the weaver 36 power scope ready to shoot.
Cheers Bill

Reply with quote | #7 | Bill, Just one other question I take it a 500m Fly match consists of 5 targets, if you hit the fly once on two targets do you get a patch for each target or just one patch??

Reply with quote | #8 | Hi Ian the action uses an Omark bolt but the action is one piece and has a piece reoil lug tig welded to the action body.
As for the fly's you get one for every target and if you hit multiple fly's on one target you get a patch with the number of flys you hit. |
